Who exactly is Benji Flowers?
Context matters here. Flowers joined FC Dallas Academy at age 10, became the club's youngest-ever first-team signing, and is only the second-youngest player in the club's entire history. He made his MLS NEXT Pro debut with North Texas SC — FC Dallas's affiliate — appearing in three matches. He also represented the US at U-15 level, scoring twice in three appearances as a winger.

"I've always wanted to do this, it's my hometown club, so it's an amazing achievement. I didn't know it was going to come this soon, but it's a moment I've dreamt of," Flowers said when he signed his first professional deal with FC Dallas back in July. "I still want to be the best player to come out of MLS."

Benji's older brother is Aaron Flowers, a sophomore defensive back for the Oregon Ducks who put up 37 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, one interception, and three passes defended in 2025.
