Cristiano Ronaldo is a married man. The 41-year-old wed long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal — a coastal town just outside Lisbon — with their five children watching on.

The pair announced it the only way people do these days: a shared Instagram post, two rings visible, captioned simply with 'C ❤️ G'. No press conference. No fanfare. Just a photograph doing the talking.

The timing, and what comes next

Four days. That's the gap between exchanging vows and Al Nassr's first match of the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season. Whether that's a testament to Ronaldo's focus or just efficient scheduling, only he knows — but it's the kind of detail that tells you something about where he is in life right now. The football still comes, but it fits around the bigger picture.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first went public in 2017 at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich, though they'd been together since 2016 after meeting in Madrid. In the years since, they've built a family of five: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, born via surrogate in June 2017; daughter Alana, born November 2017; and twins Bella and the late Ángel, born in April 2022. Ángel passed away at birth — a loss they shared publicly with a joint statement that remains one of the rawest things either has written. Ronaldo also has an older son, Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship.

The family has been a constant backdrop to the final stretch of a career that spans Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and Portugal — close to 1,000 goals across all of it. He's also appeared at six World Cups, matching Lionel Messi's record for most appearances in the men's finals.

Al Nassr's season is about to begin. For now, though, the story is in Cascais.
