Brittany Mahomes Gets Her Own Hall of Fame Moment at UT Tyler.

Remember last year when Patrick Mahomes got inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame? Brittany Mahomes was there in the crowd, cheering him on. Well, now it's her turn to shine.

UT Tyler athletics just announced their 2026 Hall of Fame class, and Brittany Mahomes is heading in. She'll join Dr. Howard Patterson and the 2016 Softball Team as the sixth class entering the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame.

"The 2026 UT Tyler Hall of Fame class is truly elite," said Director of Athletics Sam Ferguson. And when you look at what Brittany accomplished on the soccer field, it's hard to argue with that.

A Soccer Career That Speaks for Itself

From 2013 to 2016, Brittany absolutely dominated women's soccer at UT Tyler. She finished second all-time in total points with 78 and goals with 31. She also grabbed third place in game-winning goals with 10 and assists with 16.

But her 2016 season? That's what sealed the deal. She set program records that year with 40 points, 18 goals, and seven game-winning goals. Those are numbers that simply don't happen by accident.

Here's what makes her stats even more impressive. She had four separate matches where she scored three goals. That ties the best single-game mark in school history. Talk about clutch performances when it mattered most.

More Than Just a Player

Ferguson made it clear that Brittany's impact goes beyond her playing days. He highlighted "the incredible work she has been doing to advance women in sport." That's the kind of legacy that makes a Hall of Fame career complete.

The induction ceremony happens in March, and you can bet the UT Tyler community will turn out in force. For current Patriots student-athletes, this class shows exactly what it means to represent the school at the highest level.

Brittany's journey from college soccer star to Hall of Famer is one more chapter in the Mahomes family story. And this time, Patrick will be the one cheering from the crowd.
